Kurt V. Rachwitz is an adaptable and resourceful fundraising and development executive with more than 25 years of professional experience and an extensive arsenal of effective campaign techniques.

Kurt can build campaigns from the ground up, helping clients assess their needs, design and develop budgets, strategic plans, and feasibility studies, and planning, implementing, and managing successful campaigns. He can show the client the way to success starting from any point in the development process. His experience makes him a virtual turn-key campaign with the knowledge base to customize tested principles into effective fundraising tactics.
A STELLAR Career
As a classroom professor and chair of an academic division, Kurt was responsible for raising funds for his faculty’s professional development and the students’ tutoring and learning center services. He enjoyed the experience so much that he began a second career as a fundraising professional with the Georgia Institute of Technology. Since making that career change, Kurt has designed, developed, and directed fundraising campaigns for chambers of commerce, private schools, the Girl Scouts of America, low income housing assistance organizations, performing arts centers, institutions of higher education, a museum, a PGA golf tournament, and a sports hall of fame.

Kurt holds the PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Nebraska. He is a former Fellow of the Nebraska Writing Project and an acknowledged national expert on writing and producing materials that present a client’s best qualities and features to diverse and influential audiences. He and his wife, Pamela Thomas, live in Macon, Georgia with a dog and a cross-eyed cat. |
